Portrait of James Burke

James Burke – A well known British science communicator during the 60s through to the 80s. He co-presented a long running science programme on the BBC, called Tomorrow’s World. He also wrote and presented short run science documentaries, the best known of which was ‘Connections’ (still available in DVD format from Amazon). His style of presenting was similar to that of Carl Sagan, full of enthusiasm and wonder. To this day, whenever I give talks, I pull out my inner James Burke. Definitely one of my idols. Digital portrait – Adobe Sketch on iPad Pro wing iPencil.
