About the Artist

Walter was born in Indiana in the USA just a few months following Sputnik One's historic entry into Earth orbit. He now lives near Chicago and is a freelance computer graphics artist. Walter's been a space enthusiast and interested in astronomy ever since he first looked to the sky as a child. His vocations have included graphic artist, photographer, multi-image programmer, web designer, instructional designer, and projected media designer. His space art strives toward photorealism, hopefully with the resultant image being more interesting and informative than anything a still camera can produce.
