Martian Explorer

This image was created from three public domain NASA images and five of my own. The body of the astronaut was from a shot of a suit hanging in a bay of the ISS. The head and backpack was taken from another astronaut and the rover was from a test on Earth. The “Martian” landscape is from dry lakebed near my house and composed of three different shots. The sky is an altered image that was shot in Florida. The shadows and Rover tracks were painted in in Photoshop. The reflection on the astronaut’s visor was also painted in Photoshop and pasted into a “green screen” on the visor. Original file is 20″ x 13.25″ and 107mb.
