Horizons Series. Triptych 1. Oil on canvas, 86×30, 2005-2006.

The Horizons Series materialized like any other piece I painted. Intense reflection shapes into the precise vision: light, colour and contour that is impossible to alter or tailor.
Drawing explorers, colonizing, scouting and tasting new worlds on Mars, Europa, or Enceladus, proceeded from and triggered reflections about the past and ongoing explorations and the next conquest era. Besides unyielding curiosity and desire to know, touch and feel, why do we go out there?
What do we seek, bring and leave behind? In my lifetime, Everest, once a pristine natural wonder, turned into the most polluted mountain peak on Earth. What new highs will we reach travelling further?
