Dyson Sphere

My take on a Dyson Sphere began by painting a star field in Photoshop. I take photos of clouds and then turn those images into PS brushes which are applied in low opacity to a black canvas with white noise on it. Then I start painting larger stars on layers behind the “clouds” which create a nebula effect. The Dyson Sphere was created by “sphereizing” a photo of a circuit board, cutting out sections of it, duplicating it behind itself, and changing the lighting to produce a hollow sphere around the central star. 20″ x 13.25″. 350mb
