I’ve been on a constellation kick. So, to improve my own constellation knowledge, I’ve done a few art pieces on them. This one is for the constellation Corvus (the crow/raven). I had a ‘happy accident’ with the sky black: A tube labeled gouache ended up being acrylic. Materials: Paper: Bee Paper 100% Rag 140# Cold Press Watercolor, Paint: Daniel Smith Watercolor and Holbein Gouache and Acrylic, Pen: Uniball Signo White Gel Pen+minor Photoshop level adjustments

Hi! I’m Jane, an Indianapolis based artist, illustrator and self-publisher with a focus on astronomical art and space travel. I’m all about empowering others through art, music, DIY/Zine culture, and comics! I hope to encourage others to be curious, explore the world around them, and embrace science. When I’m not making art, I enjoy reading, going on adventures with Vyvyan (the wonder pup) and playing bass/singing in my bands.
