e-PulsarThe Lost Issue

COLOR ARTWORK

Can you guess what the theme for the issue was going to be?....

Moonring

Moonring   By Don Dixon

For tens of thousands of years after the massive collision that created the Moon, the Earth's atmosphere would be a caustic mix of gases with meteorites raining down while the new Moon coalesced from the ring of debris above.

Bluer

The Blue is Rising   By Michael C. Turner

The view is from the gas giant's frozen moon. Ice "volcanoes" erupt in the distance with plumes of ice caused from the gravitational influx fields between the gas giant, its rings, and its lunar companion.

Saturn

Saturn's Rings   By Leland Long

A gorgeous view of Saturn's rings from one of it's numerous moons.
