NEAR-Shoemaker took this image looking down the length of Eros on March 10, 2000, from a range of 127 miles. The surface shown is covered by craters of all sizes, right down to the limit of image resolution. The three boulders on the far horizon are about 80 meters (262 feet) across - each nearly the size of a football field. Note the scale image in the bottom left corner.... NASA image Hi Gang! This issue weve got the latest about our new Fellow members. Some news and pictures about asteroids and the successful NEAR mission round out the fun. See you next time..... Jon!
