YELLOWSTONE PHOTOGRAPHY

It's possible a new world record for the number of rolls of film shot at a national monument was set at this workshop!  The views were just too incredible not to keep snapping and snapping and snapping.   Enjoy....

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Photo Jon Ramer

A view of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone from the top of the Lower Falls, looking down the canyon late in the afternoon.

Photo Jon RamerHere Bill Hartmann (left) paints "en plein air" while that pair of heathens Dirk Terrell and Anil Rao practice their pagan ritual of pushing electrons around instead of paint by using a laptop to capture Artists' Point. Mark Garlick seems to be the referee between them.... (On yer mark... get set... PAINT!)
Larry, Curly, & Moe! Photo Dirk Terrel

It takes a certain lack of brain juice to get up when it's early and freezing just to take some pictures.... Left to right, Jon Ramer, BE Johnson, Joy Day. Need we say more? (PS - Dirk Terrell's holding the camera....)

The Lower Falls  Taking in the sights... Photo Dirk Terrel

A magnificent sight - the Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon.  Left to right: Terri Ramer, Mark Garlick, Hilda Demsky, Jon Ramer.

Check out the liscence plate! Photo Dave Hardy

Separated at birth?   While in Yellowstone we ran into David B. Hardy - David A. Hardy's evil twin brother!  Or is it Davis A. who is evil??

"Wait, let me take a quick shot of Emerald Pool before anybody walks in front of my cam...  Oh... never mind...."

Morning Glory Pool shows off it's exquisite colors.

Some really strange folks here.....  :-)  Photo from Hilda Green Demsky.

The Beehive goes "Boom!" and gives a great display.

Lovely pink and green calcium deposits flow over trees and debris downhill from Emerald Pool.

Anybody got any more photos to show off?
