Always trying something new (for me) and being a volcano fan, I produced this work in what could be considered an abstract — impressionistic or expressionistic — stye; but it could also be considered a realistic view of a lava flow. It’s painted impasto in acrylics, mainly with a palette knife, and is the first of what I intend to be a series.
